Clips, VODs, moments & reels
Clip your stream while you’re live, keep streams as VODs, publish your best moments and turn them into a reel.
What you stream can live on – as clips for TikTok, Reels and Stories, as VODs on your channel and as moments CamuCam picks for you. You find all of it on Go live. How viewers watch and share them: Clips, VODs & moments.
Clips while you’re live
While you’re live, the Clips card clips the last 15 s, 30 s, 1 min or 2 min: pick a length and tap Clip the last 30 s (or the length you picked). A moment later the clip is there with Download and Share – each clip has its own page with a link preview.
- Make 9:16 gives a landscape clip an upright version for phones.
- Cut makes a new clip from part of one, with a line of text if you like (80 characters, no addresses, contact or payment details). The original stays.
- You can make 20 clips in 24 hours, one at a time. Clips stay 30 days and may use 5 GB together – the card shows how much is used. Delete clips to make room.
VODs
Every stream is recorded and stays on your channel for 7 days under Past streams. Viewers watch it with the chat as it was and chapters for tips, offers, parties, raids, goals, polls and breaks.
On the VODs card:
- Keep my streams as VODs – switch it off and nothing is recorded.
- Viewers can watch my VODs – switch it off and only you (and the team) can watch them.
- Keep a VOD and it stays until you delete it; kept VODs may use 50 GB. You can delete a VOD once its stream is over – the chat stays on your channel.
On a VOD’s page, Clip makes a clip of 15 s to 2 min from where you are; it lands in your clips and counts like any other. Share at … shares a link that starts at that moment. The team can take a VOD offline, and the VOD of a stream the team ended goes offline right away.
Moments and reels
When a stream of at least 3 minutes ends, CamuCam picks up to 8 of its best moments – from tips, offers, the party, raids, emote combos, a busy chat and how loud it got – and tells you in your activity. On the Moments card each one says why it was picked.
- Publish turns a moment into a clip. It shows on your channel and for 36 hours under Last night's moments on Browse (and on the home page when nobody is live).
- Discard removes it.
- Give a moment a title yourself, or tap Write titles and let the assistant write them.
- For a reel, tick 2 to 6 moments (3 minutes at most in all) or tap Pick for a reel, then Make reel. The moments are joined with a short cross-fade, with your handle and the date at the start. The reel lands in your clips and counts as one of the day’s 20.
Moments you didn’t publish go when their VOD goes; published ones stay as clips.
