Stream from Larix Broadcaster
Add CamuCam to Larix as a connection with your full address in one line – with the keyframe and bitrate settings that work best.
Larix Broadcaster streams from your phone over RTMP – to CamuCam alone or to several connections at once. Larix wants the server and key as one address.
Your address for Larix
- On Go live, open Stream to CamuCam from… and pick the Larix tab.
- Copy the Full address (one line) with its copy button. The eye button shows it.
The address starts with rtmp://, has your handle in the middle and ends in &via=larix. Always copy it whole: the end only tells us the stream came from Larix.
Add CamuCam in Larix
- In Larix, open Settings → Connections and add a new connection.
- Name it CamuCam, paste the full address as the URL, and save. Turn the connection on.
- Under Settings → Video, set the keyframe frequency to 2 s and the bitrate to 2–4 Mbit/s.
- Back on the camera screen, tap the record button – you’re live.
What looks best
- Upright (9:16) – the way you hold the phone; Larix follows the phone’s orientation.
- Keyframe frequency 2 s – without it, players wait longer for the picture.
- Bitrate 2–4 Mbit/s upright; less on a weak connection.
Going live and if it doesn’t connect
On Go live Waiting for your encoder… turns into Your encoder is live within seconds. If Larix can’t connect: copy the full address again (not the server alone); after New key on Go live paste the new address into Larix.
No app needed: CamuCam also streams straight from the phone’s browser – see Go live from your phone.
