Watching
Watch a stream
Swipe through who’s live, open a channel and use the player, chat and buttons – no account needed to watch.
Every stream on CamuCam is free and open to everyone. You can watch without an account – sign in when you want to chat, follow, send hearts or tip.
Find a stream
- Home is a vertical feed of everyone who’s live: swipe up for the next stream. Channels you follow come first, then the ones with the most viewers. The chips at the top – For you, IRL, Party & Bars, Gaming and the rest – filter by category.
- Browse has a search, Following (once you’re signed in), Rising this week, the categories with how many are live in each, and Top live.
- Last night's moments on Browse shows the best minutes creators published from their recent streams. The home page shows them too when nobody is live.
Tap a name or title to open the channel page: the stream, the chat, the profile with links, past streams and moments.
The player
- Streams start muted – tap Tap for sound.
- The player starts with a near-real-time connection. If your network doesn’t allow it, it switches to a fallback by itself that runs a little behind.
- The number next to LIVE (“12 watching”) counts people whose player is actually playing on screen.
- On a phone, the channel page shows an upright stream full screen: the chat runs over the lower part, and a bar on the right holds Tip, Offers and Wheel (once the streamer is verified and has them), hearts, Hide the chat, sound and Share. A tap on the picture also hides the chat. A landscape stream sits at the top with the chat below.
- On a computer the chat runs next to the video. The eye button at the bottom left of the picture (Hide overlays) hides the creator’s cards and ticker – your browser remembers that.
Breaks, reconnects and countdowns
Instead of “Offline” you may see one of these screens:
- Be right back – the creator takes a break, with a countdown and a line of text.
- Back in a moment – the connection dropped. For up to 3 minutes the chat stays open and the picture comes back by itself.
- Starting soon – a countdown before the stream. A planned stream shows it from 15 minutes before.
While you wait, Watch the latest clip may be there. More in breaks, reconnects & starting soon.
While you watch
- After an hour without a tap, Still watching? appears over the stream. Until you tap I’m here, you don’t count as a viewer and watching earns no XP.
- When the streamer raids another stream, a bar counts down (“Raiding Mara in 5 …”) and then takes you along to that stream. Tap Stay here to stay.
