Streaming

Stream from Streamlabs

Add CamuCam to Streamlabs Desktop – as a custom destination next to your other platforms, or as the custom server when you stream only here.

Streamlabs Desktop can send your stream to CamuCam in two ways: next to your other platforms (multistreaming) or only to CamuCam.

Your server and key for Streamlabs

  1. On Go live, open Stream to CamuCam from… and pick the Streamlabs tab.
  2. Copy the Server URL and the Stream key with their copy buttons. The eye button shows the key.

The key starts with your handle and ends in &via=streamlabs. Always copy it whole: the end only tells us the stream came through Streamlabs.

Next to your other platforms (Ultra)

  1. In Streamlabs Desktop, open Go Live and choose Add Destination.
  2. Choose a custom destination (it may be called Custom RTMP), name it CamuCam, paste the Server URL as URL and the Stream key as Stream Key, and save.
  3. Turn CamuCam on in the Go Live window next to your other platforms and go live.

Only to CamuCam (free)

  1. In Streamlabs Desktop, open Settings → Stream.
  2. Set Stream Type to Custom Streaming Server.
  3. Paste the Server URL as URL and the Stream key as Stream key, then go live.

What looks best

  • Upright (9:16): 720×1280 or 1080×1920 – Settings → Video. Landscape works too.
  • Keyframe interval 2 s – Settings → Output, output mode Advanced.
  • Bitrate 2.5–4.5 Mbit/s; every destination needs its own upload, so check your connection.

Going live and if it doesn’t connect

On Go live Waiting for your encoder… turns into Your encoder is live within seconds. If nothing happens: copy the key again, whole; after New key on Go live paste the new one into Streamlabs; check that the CamuCam destination is switched on.
