Tips, offers, the wheel & polls
Tip with one tap, buy an offer, spin a creator’s wheel or vote in a poll – how each one works while you watch.
Tips, offers and wheel spins are paid from your balance; polls are free. Creators keep 90 % of what you pay – see fees.
Tips
Tips open once the team has verified the streamer. Until then a lock sits in place of the buttons: “Tips unlock once the team verifies …”.
- One tap: the three buttons under the stream send a tip right away, in your currency – for example $1, $5 and $10, or ฿30, ฿150 and ฿300. The buttons wait while a tip is on its way, so a double tap doesn’t pay twice.
- Custom tip: the button next to them opens more amounts, a field for any amount worth $0.50 to $500, and a message of up to 120 characters. Before you tap Send …, the sheet shows how much goes to the creator and how much is the platform fee.
Everyone watching sees your tip big on the stream, and it lands in the chat with your message. The first tip of a stream is marked First tip!, and the three biggest tippers show on the player – names only.
Offers
Offers are things a creator does for you during the stream – a shout-out, a song, a dance. They sit behind the gift button next to the tip buttons (Offers on a phone’s side bar) while the creator is live.
- Pick an offer – each shows how it works (Right away, In line or timed, like “5 min”), how many are left and the price.
- If you can buy more than one, set How many (up to 10).
- Add a note if you like (“which song?”).
- Tap Buy for ….
What happens to your money:
- Right away: it counts at once, like a tip. The creator can give it back within 15 minutes – then the money returns to you.
- In line and timed offers: the money waits on hold until the creator has done it. If the creator gives it back, or it isn’t done by five minutes after the stream ends, it comes back to your balance.
Your purchase shows in the chat with its place in line, the time left, Done or Given back.
The wheel
Some creators hang a few of their offers on a wheel with one price per spin. Tap the wheel button (or the Wheel tab), then Spin for …. Every field has the same chance. You pay the spin whatever it lands on, and you get that offer under the rules above. Everyone watching sees the wheel turn – one spin at a time per channel.
Polls
The streamer or a moderator can pin a poll above the chat. Everyone who can write in that chat taps an answer to vote, once (guests see Sign in to vote), and then sees the standings. When it ends, the result appears in the chat.
