Stream from PRISM Live Studio
Add CamuCam to the PRISM app as a Custom RTMP channel and stream from your phone to CamuCam and your other platforms at once.
PRISM Live Studio streams from your phone (or computer) to several platforms at once. CamuCam goes in as a Custom RTMP channel – your phone uploads every stream itself, so check your connection first.
Your server and key for PRISM
- On Go live, open Stream to CamuCam from… and pick the PRISM tab.
- Copy the Server URL and the Stream key – or the Full address (one line) if PRISM asks for one URL. The eye button shows them.
The key starts with your handle and ends in &via=prism. Always copy it whole: the end only tells us the stream came from PRISM.
Add CamuCam in PRISM
- In PRISM, add a channel and pick Custom RTMP.
- Paste the Server URL as RTMP URL and the Stream key as Stream Key, and save.
- Choose upright, switch CamuCam on and go live.
What looks best
- Upright (9:16) – the way you hold the phone.
- Bitrate 2–4 Mbit/s for an upright stream.
- Keyframe interval 2 s where PRISM offers the setting.
Going live and if it doesn’t connect
On Go live Waiting for your encoder… turns into Your encoder is live within seconds. If nothing happens: copy the key again, whole; after New key on Go live paste the new one into PRISM. Stuttering? Your upload is too small for all platforms at once – switch one off or lower the bitrate.
No app needed: CamuCam also streams straight from the phone’s browser – see Go live from your phone.
