Report & safety

Report a stream, profile, chat line or VOD – also without an account – and what happens after you send it.

Every stream, profile, chat line and VOD on CamuCam has a report button, and you don’t need an account to use it. A person from the team looks at every report.

Where to report

  • A stream: the flag button on the right of the stream in the feed, or Report under the profile on the channel page.
  • A profile: Report on the channel page while the person isn’t live.
  • A chat line: tap the line on a phone (or point at it on a computer), then the … button and Report. The line you report is shown at the top of the form.
  • A VOD: Report on the VOD page.

Send a report

  1. Pick a reason:
    • Someone under 18 – on camera or shown in a sexual way, also if it only looks like it
    • Without consent – hidden recordings, deepfakes, doxxing, blackmail
    • A crime – violence, drugs, fraud, hate speech
    • Nudity or sexual content
    • Something else – spam, scams, harassment, anything else
  2. Add a few words under What happened? (optional) if they help.
  3. Tap Send report. You see Thanks – the team will look at it.

The person you report doesn’t see who reported them.

What happens next

Reports about minors, consent and crimes go to the top of the team’s list. Several reports about the same person are looked at together, and every decision is logged. Depending on what the team finds, it can end a stream, take a VOD offline, take away someone’s right to stream or block the account – see what’s not allowed.

You don’t get a message about the outcome. When the team ends a stream, viewers only see The team ended this stream. in the chat – the reason isn’t shown to them. If you have more to tell the team, write to them in Support.

Paying and contact details

On CamuCam you pay creators only with tips, offers and the wheel, from your balance. Payment codes, messenger contacts and phone numbers don’t belong in profiles, overlays or the stream picture. If a stream asks you to pay or to chat somewhere else, report it with Something else. More in QR codes & contact details in the picture.

More for your safety

  • Links to adult sites are removed from the chat automatically.
  • Streamers set rules for their chat and pick moderators who can time people out or ban them from that chat – see chat rules & moderators.
  • On a phone, a tap on the picture of a live stream hides the chat over it.
  • Protect your account with a passkey: Two-factor authentication under You.
