Levels, fans, streaks & badges

On CamuCam you level up by being there, not by spending. Everything below needs an account; you follow your progress under You.

XP and levels

• Watching: +2 for every 5 minutes of a live stream (up to 72 a day) – only while the player plays on screen, one stream at a time
• Chatting: +1 per message, at most every 20 seconds (up to 60 a day)
• Hearts: +1 for each one you send (up to 10 a day)
• Following: +5 the first time you follow a channel
• First visit of the day: +5
• Tips: +10 for every dollar

Limits reset at midnight Thailand time; tips between your own accounts don’t count. Your XP · Today under You shows each source with its limit.

Level 5 takes 320 XP, level 10 takes 1,620. Levels have names – from Newbie and Regular up to Icon (10), Mythic (15) and Immortal (20) – and unlock signal colours (any colour from level 5), Camu emotes and emote effects.

Fan levels

The XP you earn in a channel – watching, chatting, hearts, tips, following – also makes you a fan of it, from Fan 1 to Fan 10. Your fan level shows as a heart next to your name in that chat, and the chat celebrates Fan 5 and Fan 10. The channel page shows your level, the XP to the next one and which of the channel’s emotes it unlocks.

Hearts and parties

Hearts are free: you start with 10 and get 3 new ones each day, up to 30. A heart floats up on the stream in your colour, for everyone.

The Party meter fills from what everyone does in a stream – tips, hearts, chat from different people, new follows and emote combos. Full means party level 1 for two minutes; fill it again in time for the next level, up to 5. During a party, watching, chatting and following there count double (up to 100 extra XP a day) and drops are twice as likely.

Quests and streaks

• Quests: three a day, new at midnight Thailand time, 20–50 XP each. At most one costs money, and you can swap one a day. One weekly quest brings 150 XP and an emote drop. See Quests.
• Streak: every day you come by (Thailand time) adds a day. A freeze covers one missed day – one a week, they don’t pile up. Miss more and it starts over.

Seasons and badges

Each month is a season with a theme from the Thai year. The XP you earn that month counts towards five tiers: Spark 150, Glow 400, Flame 900, Blaze 1,800, Supernova 3,200. Spark keeps the month’s emotes for you. When the month ends, any tier you reached stays as a trophy, and from Flame you wear the season’s sign next to your name in every chat the month after. Badges count what you do – tipping different creators, chatting, night watching, your streak (On Fire at 7, 30 and 100 days), parties and more. Most have Bronze, Silver and Gold steps that bring XP; gold also brings an emote drop. Star up to three to show them on your channel.
