Stream from Larix Broadcaster

Add CamuCam to Larix as a connection with your full address in one line – with the keyframe and bitrate settings that work best.

Larix Broadcaster streams from your phone over RTMP – to CamuCam alone or to several connections at once. Larix wants the server and key as one address.

Your address for Larix

  1. On Go live, open Stream to CamuCam from… and pick the Larix tab.
  2. Copy the Full address (one line) with its copy button. The eye button shows it.

The address starts with rtmp://, has your handle in the middle and ends in &via=larix. Always copy it whole: the end only tells us the stream came from Larix.

Add CamuCam in Larix

  1. In Larix, open Settings → Connections and add a new connection.
  2. Name it CamuCam, paste the full address as the URL, and save. Turn the connection on.
  3. Under Settings → Video, set the keyframe frequency to 2 s and the bitrate to 2–4 Mbit/s.
  4. Back on the camera screen, tap the record button – you’re live.

What looks best

  • Upright (9:16) – the way you hold the phone; Larix follows the phone’s orientation.
  • Keyframe frequency 2 s – without it, players wait longer for the picture.
  • Bitrate 2–4 Mbit/s upright; less on a weak connection.

Going live and if it doesn’t connect

On Go live Waiting for your encoder… turns into Your encoder is live within seconds. If Larix can’t connect: copy the full address again (not the server alone); after New key on Go live paste the new address into Larix.

No app needed: CamuCam also streams straight from the phone’s browser – see Go live from your phone.
